Phases of Chase Atlantic’s New Single: “HER”

         The first of a handful of new singles from Chase Atlantic’s upcoming sophomore album, Phases, “HER” is what you might call an absolute banger. Sticking to their classic sound while creating a new R&B-style song, “HER” tells the story about falling in love with a girl who has daddy issues, something not unforeseen before with this trio consisting of Mitchel Cave, Clinton Cave, and Christian Anthony. All throughout the song, they name-drop designer brands as well, because why would they do anything else?

The group is an alternative-pop band hailing from Australia that formed in 2014. Their new album is set to release June 28th, and they just announced their supporting tour throughout North America, starting in Philadelphia on June 14th.

The new song starts out with some electronic sounds, leading into the first verse. You can distinctly hear their surreal accents through their music, giving off that R&B style they’re known for. With more electronic sounds and a steady beat, the chorus is super catchy. Their live shows are going to be something else with this new album tour.
