STEELE is Ready to Steal the Show

You might have heard of Steele Kratt from The Britanys, but he has been making himself known with his solo music that you really need to check out if you haven’t already. Here’s everything you need to know first.

Who are you and where are you from?

My name is STEELE and I’m from New York City!

What kind of music do you create?

Bedroom Brian Eno, but with a more generous helping of sad tossed into the mixture.

Why did you get into music?

My dad and mom. He gave me drum sticks when I was a wee lad and put records on for me to bang on our furniture to. In the 2000's, my mom always bought the best CD’s from Amazon and Virgin Records for our car rides. She developed my palette.

If music wasn't an option, what would you be doing?

Professional basketball player/professional soccer player. 

What’s the biggest problem you’ve had to overcome so far?

Existential dread. 

What do you enjoy most about being a musician? What do you hate most?

I enjoy being able to create something out of the blue, and the process of making art. I hate the sad reality of the vast world of art.
