Four-piece Malaysian alternative indie-rock band Midnight Fusic just dropped their newest single, “Caramel Cream,” last Thursday night. This is on the tail of their first major success, their debut EP When Love Was Around, which came out last year and included their first hit, “Lovesick,” which garnered over a million streams. This has launched them onto music festival stages across Indonesia and Singapore and the international stage. Consisting of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Arif Aizuddin, lead guitarist Adrian Danial, Firdaus Azmi bass player, and drummer Muaz Rabbani, the band and its infectious melodies don't seem to be quitting anytime soon.

The new track talks about finding and falling in love for what feels like the first time all over again. Blending this theme together with their favorite Starbucks drink, a caramel cream frappuccino, Aizuddin belts out the catchy chorus ‘she's the girl of my dreams, she's so sweet, my caramel cream.’ Backed up with the band’s dreamy instrumentals and soft vocal harmonies, you have the perfect radio up, windows down, singing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs summer song to compliment any summer road trip. It’s clear this band isn't afraid to have fun with their sound and their lyrics, this time taking a break from some of the heavier topics that they explored in their EP, including mental health and illness.

With another EP planned for later this year, Midnight Fusic continues to deliver unforgettable melodies and choruses that seem to sing themselves.
