Homesafe on the Rise
With “One” being less than a year old, Homesafe is quickly making their way into the ears of many fans of pop-punk music. The band is on the rise, meaning constant tours and a new full-length album, leaving fans surprised when they unexpectedly dropped the new single “Save Me.” With the release of this new song, the band keeps up their current rise; managing to pull in new fans and please the old ones.
“Save Me” brings out a more alternative side to the band’s music, all while still containing the rock edge it needs. Staying with the same flow of emotions Homesafe is known for expressing, the song has some hard-hitting lyrics many fans have already come to love such as ‘Save me. I’m calling out to you but you won’t hear me.’ And ‘Be strong, you’re fine. It’s all a lie.’ The song deals with feelings of need and abandonment. It focuses on listeners who are feeling hopeless and reminding them they aren’t alone.
Aside from the lyrics, the song itself has many musical aspects that are prominent. Lead singer Ryan Rumchacks’ rough vocals mixing with the bass of Tyler Albertson and guitar of Joe Colesby brings a 90’s alternative rock feel to the song. Emanuel Duran, the drummer, adds a nice rhythm to the song to pull it together and give it a feel that fans have already fallen in love with.
Homesafe are currently on tour with Can’t Swim and “Save Me” is available on all major streaming services!
